Dama geometry consists of more than shorter top tubes and marketing hype - our frames address differences in center of gravity as well as in measurements. Every single angle of every frame size is designed to contribute to one of the smoothest, fastest, most stable performance bikes in the world. The result is a real petit racing bike – a first in women’s bike design.

Not satisfied with only our own opinions, in 2001 we began sponsoring the best women racers in the world. For six years, our Dama geometry has been raced by Olympians, National Champions and the best women’s racing teams in the world. Nothing emphasizes the success of our Dama design more than seeing events won on Orbea Dama bicycles, year after year. In addition to being awe-inspiring athletes, the feedback and opinions of our elite female racers has made them into de-facto designers at Orbea. Their ideas have proven as valuable as the technical expertise provided by Miriam Bengotxea, our engineer. Together, these women are a dream-team of designers and product testers and have helped us to hone and expand the Dama range into what it is today.
